All About Our Dance School
Dizzy Dancers is voluntary run IDTA dance school, offering tap ballet freestyle and gymnastic dance lessons. The school is based at Highgate Baptist Church, Conybere Street, Highgate and meets on a Saturday morning from 10.00am till 12:30pm. The school aims to provide affordable dance lessons, exams and the opportunity to do dance demonstrations and performances. We take students from as young as 2 or 3 years old up to adults who want to dance for fun and meet new friends.
The aim of the school is to engage both children and adults in the love of dance, whatever their need or ability, and to also build self-esteem and confidence while pursuing a healthy hobby.

Helping students to achieve
Although the focus of the school is to have fun, we do offer students the opportunity to take IDTA examinations if they want to. Exam sessions are usually take place once every two years, this allows us to plan and prepare for a show in between each exam session.
Dancing Shows
Building Confidence and Self Esteem
Once every two years, in between dancing exams, we like to give the students the opportunity to get on a stage and perform.
In the past these have been performed at the Dovehouse theatre, in Solihull. Where we are supported by a professional sound and lighting technician.
This gives students of all abilities the opportunity to wear costumes and feel like a star.
In the past we have managed to subsides (with the help of St Alban's trust) the cost of costumes and tickets.
